The day I knew there was something like this, I instantly made up my mind that I have to, have to be in it. That done, a few minutes later resistance set in! Making me question time, availability and my commitment towards it.
And as much as my logical mind denied and defied all possibilities of me being there, I knew it in my heart that I have to do this, and that a major shift is waiting for me on the other side.
More than anything else, my biggest concern was managing my finances as well as staying committed on this path.
Let me tell you something, as much as I worried about finances, it auto managed itself the moment that decision was made. I have been really lucky to have Paul and Neelam as my guides and teachers who in true sense embody the essence of being there and pushing students on the right path.
And this is one thing I have realized over these months of the one year program: I have become it.
This path is not separate than my existence. It is me, and I am it. Today, I have reached a point where I Don’t have to FIND time for it
I walk the red road with every breath. The teachings of the months automatically auto attune themselves into me. I have been doing this day in and day out.
This is what I have to say to people who are thinking about the one year mentorship program or for that matter any program offered by Shamanic Vision.
If you feel the adrenaline rush, if you feel your heart pump itself up with excitement, if you just know that you should be a part of it – trust me! YOU SHOULD!
You will be surprised and amazed at what can open up for you and how far it can take you in your own journey!
Time and money, I feel, is just an excuse, resistance and your ego mind stopping you from making that huge change for yourself.
I have learned so much. I am evolving each day. And I love my tribe! I totally get what it feels to be a part of a tribe. It is nothing less than a family. Family who’s there to love, support and accept each other the way we are and still help them grow.
My tribe has helped me time and time again. Irrespective of the fact of what’s inclusive in the learning of the program. They have been there. Always. And in particular Neelam and Paul.
I cannot thank you two enough.

I think the biggest release in acknowledging my whole self for who I am, what I am without judgement, fear or apology came last year from Sea Healing retreat.
There was some.serious and massive shift in that Retreat that opened up 3 aspects:
- Asking without fear of rejection.
- Voicing hurt when expectations are not met. And voicing them constructively. Not complaint or nagging.
- Accepting my inner most personality traits, not being in a constant conflict with them and being grateful for their gifts.
Once these acknowledgement happened, being able to work on the shortcomings of my nature – learning the ‘Homeopathic dose of Diplomacy’, keeping quiet when needed and assertive when needed.. all of that started flowing easily.
For those of you who may have seen messages on Sea is my Mother* – and are wondering about it – it was the first ever healing retreat I did. And Oh Boy! It was fun, it was agony. It was tears and lots n lots of laughter. We learnt to go with the flow.
I learnt how Sea is a feminine aspect – and I had always associated with Masculine. That helped me to feel empowered and feel the feminine power. Feminine aspects I had discarded as ‘weaknesses’ became unwrapped as doses I needed in small quantities. And accepting it became natural. It became easy to integrate the lesson that ‘A hammer’ approach isn’t helpful always.
Acceptance of my ‘tumult’ creating personality, someone who brings out the muck , addresses the elephant in the room, but to do so effectively, I needed those small doses. And then Asking. Trusting. Receiving And feeling that It is my Right to Ask. And to throw a tantrum if I don’t receive. Like a child. Sometimes demand. Sometimes Cajol… But to first feel that the universe is not biased.

Shamanism – is a way of life!!
I have grown up “communicating” with the forces of Nature. I believed that everything is interconnected & my life story is interwoven with every element of Existence! When I started travelling, every trip filled me renewed hope & fortitude simply I danced with every molecule existed in that given place.

I had the most beautiful, soul soaring and healing + cleansing experience with Neelam Ramchand Nanwani ‘s sacred offering of the Medicine Wheel work. It is both a manifestation, clarity focus work in my experience + it goes deep into subliminal clearings. I loved my time with my tribe at The Sea is my mother… A Healing Retreat. To stay right across and listen to Divine Mothers ebb and flow of waves was so invigorating. Neelam and Paul Thank you for this wonderful experience. Days filled with learning, journeying, owning your knowing, sharing and holding space for each other as each of us were healing… meditations and me time with ocean goddess at the beach and not to forget all the masti we kicked. My biggest take away was to be comfortable with my body. From being absolutely straight laced for all these years.. accessing my sexy siren side and be comfortable with it was huge for me.
The right mix of tribe elevates the whole experience to a very different level. I experienced the most amazing session with Neelam this morning..soul/life purpose utilizing the medicine wheel..I was able to articulate what my questions were and seek guidance ..my questions were asked and through Neelam’s amazing guidance, the answers that I was seeking came through..Neelam was able to help me dig deeper, go through layer by layer to really see what was holding me back…once, that breakthrough occurred, I felt like a weight was lifted..Neelam has the incredibly insight to see beyond, and she guided me through a womb healing and rebirth process..not only cathartic and cleansing..but such a sense of freedom and lightness..I drummed and sang, and could feel my guides and power animals with me and cheering me on. I felt so calm, empowered with a new sense of purpose after our session today.

Learning shamanism from Neelam and from Shamanic Vision has been one of the most enriching processes of my life. I am just back from the Sea Healing Retreat in Calicut birthed and conducted by Neelam. A very invigorating 4 days spent by the beach with introspection into being my true self – unmasked, unafraid, realising the strength and power that lies dormant within and giving it the right expression. Massive cleansing, meditations, day activities starting from sun up and way into moon up, yet we were fresh for the next sun up!! I got home with new skin besides ofcourse a new attitude!!
